START THE CONVERSATION04 — Life in Motion
This is what freedom looks like.
05 — How It Works
Simple. Secure. Transformative.
Position
Place the Bindii Grip System at the nape and temples — the key anchor points for natural, secure hold. No glue, no tape, no prep ritual.
Secure
The performance-engineered grip material creates a friction-based bond with your scalp and wig cap. Breathable, adjustable, and instantly confident.
Live
Go about your day — swim, dance, travel, work, play. The Bindii system moves with you, maintaining hold through sweat, water, and full range of motion.
06 — Your Wig. Your Choice.
Love your wig?
Keep your choice.
Bindii is being developed as an adaptable wig-security system—not a closed wig ecosystem. The goal is to support use with a wide range of existing wigs, subject to individual fit, wig construction, attachment choice and final compatibility testing.
This means you can keep choosing the style, colour, length and supplier that suit you, while exploring a Bindii setup designed around your own needs and preferences.
Compatibility testing will consider:
Lace-front wigs
Full-lace wigs
Synthetic wigs
Human-hair wigs
Wigs worn during hair loss
Custom-made units
“
Keep the wig you love.
Keep your choices open.
The Bindii Grip Co.
One adaptable system. Different wigs, needs and preferences.
Compatibility may vary according to wig construction, fit, wearer needs and chosen attachment method. Final compatibility and use guidance will follow verified testing.
07 — Our Promise
Freedom to move.
Confidence to live.
Hair loss and changing hair needs shouldn't define the moments that matter. Swimming. Travelling. Dancing. Working. Exercising. Parenting. Celebrating. Living.
Bindii is being developed around a simple idea: wig security should support real life. Different people, wigs, routines and activities have different needs, so adaptability sits at the heart of the system.
Our promise is to test carefully, communicate honestly and keep improving—so our performance and activity guidance reflects what we can verify.
08 — Founder Story
The Story Behind The Grip
The people and moments that matter.
A Note From Maria
Where Bindii Really Began
I have always been a creative soul. Since my early teens, my hair has been one of my favourite ways to express that creativity.
I have bleached it, dyed it, straightened it and chemically treated it. I have worn it black, blonde, blue, pink and rainbow—with beads, braids, extensions and almost every look in between.
I was fortunate to have thick, fast-growing hair that could reach past my hips. But all that experimenting sometimes came at a cost. When my hair became damaged and progressively shorter, I turned to wigs while it grew back.
I loved how quickly a wig could transform my appearance. What I didn’t love was the glue, the lengthy preparation, the maintenance and the quiet fear that my wig might shift or come off.
My hair would grow back, I would begin experimenting again, and eventually the cycle would repeat.
For almost 30 years, I kept expecting wig security to evolve. I waited for something simpler, more adaptable and better suited to real life. When that change still hadn’t arrived, I decided to begin creating it myself.
That was the beginning of Bindii.
Later, its purpose became even more personal when I supported my sister through cancer and witnessed her experience of hair loss. My sister has since passed away, but that journey never left me.
It helped me understand more deeply that wigs can be about creativity and choice—but they can also be about identity, privacy, confidence and finding a sense of yourself during profound change.
Today, I am developing Bindii for people who wear wigs for every kind of reason—self-expression, hair damage, hair loss, treatment-related changes, convenience or simply because they choose to.
I have spent countless hours researching, prototyping, questioning, changing and testing because I don’t want to rush something simply to get it to market. I want to earn the trust of the people who choose Bindii.
For me, Bindii is about more than wig security. It is about what I hope Bindii can offer: more choice, greater freedom of expression and one less thing to think about while you get on with living.
Your time belongs to the moments that matter.
